A guide: Itenarario 7 days in Spain

Do you only have 7 days to travel around Spain? Don't worry, here we offer you a one-week itinerary so you can make the most of your trip and visit the most emblematic cities of this country.

Days 1-2:
BARCELONA
While in Barcelona you must admire Gaudi's architecture, so visiting La Sagrada Familia, Casa Mila, Casa Batllo and Park Guell are a must, walk through the Gothic Quarter, get lost in its narrow streets and visit the Cathedral of Barcelona.

In the Born neighborhood you can visit the Picasso Museum (with more than 4,000 of the artist's works) and the Cathedral of the Sea.

Barcelona is famous for its nightlife, so don't hesitate to visit one of its clubs.

You can also enjoy the spectacle of water, light and sound of the Magic Fountains of Montjuic. Another must is to enjoy the sun, the beach and a delicious paella in Barceloneta.

Days 3- 4: MADRID
(From Barcelona to Madrid you can travel aboard a high-speed train. The trip takes approximately three hours and it is a transfer that you should book in advance).

In Madrid you can take the opportunity to see famous works of art housed in the Prado Museum, the Reina Sofia Museum (which houses the famous Guernica) and the Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum, visit the Royal Palace and the Almudena Cathedral.

Walk through the streets of the city, enjoying the movement of the Plaza Mayor, Puerta del Sol and Plaza de Santa Ana, you can also stroll along the Gran Via.

Stroll and visit the alternative stores of Chueca and Malasaña, enjoying its bohemian air. (If you want, you can make an express visit to the city of Toledo, which is only 30 minutes by train from Madrid's Atocha Station).

Day 5: SEVILLE(The train ride between Madrid and Seville takes two and a half hours, also requires advance booking).

Here you will find the largest cathedral in the world, the Cathedral of Seville, which also houses the remains of Christopher Columbus.

Stroll through Maria Luisa Park, from where you can reach the famous Plaza de España, where you can take amazing pictures.

You can also take a one-hour boat ride on the Guadalquivir River. Visit the Palacio de las Dueñas, famous for the art collection inside.

Day 6: GRANADA
(The trip from Seville to Granada takes three and a half hours)

The great attraction of Granada is the architectural beauty of the Alhambra, a place full of history and syncretism that you cannot miss. Be careful, it is the most visited monument in Spain, so you must book your ticket in advance, this can be done online.

It is also recommended to book a guided tour to not miss any detail and learn more about the secrets of this place. Granada is famous for its tapas, so after visiting the Alhambra you can go and taste them, accompanied by a good wine or a beer. You can even take a tapas tour and I assure you that you won't go hungry or thirsty.

Walk through the Albaicin neighborhood, one of the most typical neighborhoods of Granada. If you want to immerse yourself in the roots of flamenco, visit the Sacromonte neighborhood.

Visit the cathedral of Granada and, taking advantage of it, when you leave you can also enter the Arab baths HAMMAM AL-HARAM, which are only 100 meters from the cathedral. Here you can take advantage of various packages, where the most economical includes a bath and a 15-minute massage.

Day 7: CÓRDOBA
Here you can tour the Alcazar de los Reyes Cristianos complex, the main residence of Isabella and Ferdinand, visit the Mezquita-Cathedral of Cordoba, and visit the Calahorra Tower, a medieval tower that is now a museum.
