The Oficina de Extranjería requires that, each time you apply for the issuance of procedures (such as work or internship residency, TIE, etc.), you must pay the tax for such actions. There are four types of fees, which are the most common for the procedures that foreign students must cover:

- Model 790 Code 052: the one that foreign workers must pay in case they are hired by any Spanish company or institution.
- Form 790 Code 062: the fee that the employer of foreigners must pay. You can access the form here.
- Form 790 Code 012: the fee to be paid to make the fingerprints, collect the TIE or the residence card.
- Form 790 Code 038: for all the procedures that have to do with the Large Companies Unit of the Entrepreneurs Law.

These forms, as well as any others that do not fall into the above mentioned categories, must be printed and paid at the bank. Some also have the option to pay through electronic means.

Most of these procedures will range between 15 and 25 euros, but the price of each one is different and varies from year to year, so it is important to check the amount before making the payment. The process to make the payment at the ATM is as follows:

1. You must go to the bank with the printed application form. It includes a bar code that will be useful in later steps.
2. Insert your card with which you wish to make the payment in the ATM.
3. On the home screen of the ATM, select the "Payments" option, which has a barcode icon.
4. Then, you must click on the "Payments with barcode" option that appears in the upper left corner of the screen.
5. Then, you will place the barcode printed on the application in the cashier's reader.
6. Once the barcode has been recognized, you must fill out the form that appears on the screen where you will be asked for information such as the amount of the fee, among others. 7. The system will allow you to choose the payment method: either credit or debit card.
8. The payment details will appear on the screen. Then, you must confirm that they are correct.
9. If the data is correct, press the "Confirm" button.
10. Finally, the cashier will issue the payment receipt, which you should keep.
